Update
For all my faithful readers who are wondering whats going on with nyc...people just don't stop asking me, so i figure people wanna know! I've been cooperating with the nyc church in making sure that we double sign and notarise every document that I already had when i was at the border before. In the meantime, the pastor will be calling the border, double checking and triple checking to make sure that I won't be given a hassle like i did when i cross. In the meantime, I am to wait...and be patient...a hard thing for me to do usually, but oddly enough I'm feeling pretty good about waiting. This time of reflection has given me some much needed down time and a chance to appreciate home a bit. Maybe i'll even get to fit in a good hike sometime this week, we'll see how that goes.

Hiking is ALWAYS a good thing!
Glad your church is going to bat for you.
Wow! The church in New York realy wants you if they are willing to do so much to get you there. Enjoy being so wanted, wallow in their certainty that you are the man for this job. Cherish the direction that is so clear right now despite the hold up on getting to the final destination, as you may find it a unique experience as the years go by. We are so happy for you.
Of course people wanna know Darrell! We care about what happens to you.
Enjoy the down time D. I suspect your life will get pretty busy when you get to NYC. A hike would be an essential down time activity, especially in Van.
Take care, bro.

Hey, just realized you're in Chiliwack. Nevertheless a hike would be a good thing.
Also, moving around a lot seems more common than ever. It's easy when you have few ties to your immediate community. Perhaps this is the side effect of an increasing global community driven by internet commerce and job postings. People will move to find work are/or and better pay. Individuality and the isolationism of a virtual community are also rising. You can have friends all over the world and talk to them regularly but not even know your nieghbour's name. Just a few thoughts totally off topic.

Hey - I saw the ocean today. How far are you from there? And then I realized, hey, NY is on an ocean too, only I didn't think of that when I was there. That is my extremely deep thought of the day. Now I'm going to eat frozen marionberries or whatever they're called on the west coast.
Oh yeah, and I wanted to tell you that I always hit the "next blog" button at the top after I'm done checking yours, and yours is by far the most concrete. It's like...organized and makes sense. Mines pretty but it's not as pretty as yours.
Don't you remember how close the water was to us when we were in Vancouver? its not quite the ocean, but its a strait that leads into the ocean. Been thinking about humidity levels for my guitar, and I wonder if it will be pretty similar because I will be on the coast. We'll see how it goes with that new hygrometer I picked up.
Oh yes, I remember that water. Was it near the market place and that magician guy? Or was that a river?
That was the georgia strait, which is the same water you saw when you at the park.
