top photos of the year

some of you might know that before i moved to caronport, i was actually a part time wedding photographer. i've been doing photography since my highschool days, but after i got into the police when i was nineteen, i began my first works as a professional. To see some of my work over the years, click on the filmworks link on the right and try to find my portfolio, and interactive e-album, scroll down from that page and you'll find a sneaky link for other works.

as a photographic artist, i'm not alone with the slow adoption of digital photography. I really do prefer the medium of film much better than the digital. but with the times comes adjustment, and this year i bought my first non professional point and shoot digital camera. for your viewing pleasure, i've decided to round up some of my favourite pictures of the year. granted, I'm not going to tell you that any of this is close to my best works, but it'll be a fun time of reminiscing...join me, won't you?

On an evening walk with my dear friend Dell, i got bitten like nobody's business that night, but this shot was worth the pain. I always think twice now when Dell invites me for a walk...we were literally bushwacking thru grass that was taller that most women.

i went back to BC in March to shoot a wedding and spent some time with my friend Irina at this West Vancouver beach. it was good times....

I also got to go to this night bazaar with my buddy Shandalin, i love open air markets!!

Navy Pier in Chicago, IL. one of the nicest and most expensive places i've ever been to. i parked for an hour, it cost me $21 usd.

The High family from Marcellus, MI. An example of what it means to leave behind a truly significant legacy. Don High is one of my truest heroes.
