Back in BC & Wedding Update
Wow! We did it! We are married! And, so far things have been going great! We are finally back to our regular schedules of.. well.. mostly working. Although we are still working on finishing up some post-wedding stuff, picking up gifts from the registry, thank you cards, paying the expenses, etc. But, hey, it was totally worth it!

How was the wedding? In one word, perfect! Yes, I actually think it was. It was all that we wanted it to be, short and sweet but not too plain. The reception also went exactly according to plan. Overall, everything was just great! We enjoyed every minute of it!
How was the honeymoon? Awesome! As some of you may already know, we flew back to Vancouver (from Moncton, NB) the night of our wedding - yes our wedding night was spent on a plane BUT we got upgraded to First Class because we just got married! Bonus! - slept a few hours and went to Canada Place to catch our Cruise to Alaska! It was beautiful! The ship attempted to go through Glacier Bay but unfortunately due to this being the first run of the year the ship couldn't make it all the way to the big glacier. But, Darrell had a good zoom on his camera so we got some amazing photos - which will be posted soon.

At our first port we went shopping! This is when Darrell started his fascination with Alaskan ULU's - it's basically a really cool rounded knife for the kitchen. It is pretty cool and is great for cutting anything!

At our second port, we went on an excursion to an old gold mine.

We went on a tour of the inside of the mine and got to see how some of the machinery works.

We also panned for gold and actually got some - although not enough to be worth anything.

At our third port, we went on an 8 hour excursion! First we took a 2.5 hours bus ride through the Coastal Mountains which was cool! During this bus ride we crossed the Canadian boarder into the YUKON TERRITORIES!

In the Yukon, we stoped for lunch at the Caribou Crossing and got to visit a little dog musher camp.

We then took the White Pass Trail train back to the port. This train ride was also amazing - through the mountains again, sometimes on the edge of a cliff!

Speaking of the cruise, there was sooooo much food!! It seriously felt like we ate every 5 minutes! haha! The food was sooooo good too! Our favorite resturant on the ship was Le Bistro, we went here our first night and last night on the ship. Their goat cheese pastry was mouth watering!
On the ship we also went to three art auctions, to a live show every night, ate, were almost on a newly wed game show, ate, found a cool game at the casino (just for fun), watched some movies, oh and did I mention.. ate lots of amazing food!!
Anyway, if you're interested in seeing our wedding photos and videos here is the website: http://www.miramichiphoto.com/clients/lim/. I personally prefer the videos as they bring the photos alive. Caution, they are kinda long, but totally worth it!

If you're like to see more honeymoon photos I have them posted on my facebook account - just look me up if you have an account, Cheryl Murray.

Hey Cheryl!
I didn't know you were a blogger too. Isn't it addicting? By the sounds of it, it sounds like your honeymoon was a hit. Wow, and a cruise to boot. Johnnie and I really still haven't had ours yet. I would love to go to Greece.(crossing my fingers for that one still :) Anyway, love reading the updates!
