the road ahead

Wow. I’m pretty stressed out. When I came back to Canada in November, I thought I could handle finishing 3 courses and starting another 3 in two months. I was SO wrong. yup, I’m about ready for a vacation. But, I still have another 3 more weeks before that begins. Here’s what’s going on:

Tomorrow, Jan 7th, I leave for Hyderabad, India where I will be taking more courses for my degree. Looking forward to the interaction with the culture, and curry.



I’ll be leaving India on Feb 1st where I will begin my backpacking trip to Europe. THIS is where the vacation begins. From Feb.1-21, I’ll be making my way through England, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, Scotland, Ireland, and then I’ll fly back to Vancouver from Amsterdam on Feb.21.



Ok, so it may not be that much of a vacation, but it'll be an experience of a lifetime. I expect my SK friends will find me to be a very weary traveller when i'm back on Feb.24.

I’ll try and drop you guys an update at some point while I’m abroad, but please…I ask this of you…please do not send me any emails unless someone got married, engaged or passed away. I love encouraging emails and “hey, how’s it going” but please feel free to do so through this blog. It’s a good way for me to log on quickly to one site, and log off quickly at internet cafes.

Expect not to hear from me for the rest of this month. Technology in India isn’t great, and everything at the school is on dialup. Nothing is really dependable and could go out at anytime.

I hope to have some internet time from feb 1st to 3rd, where I will be in London, soaking up the musicals. And then off and on while I’m backpacking. Its hard to say how much time I will have.
