Thoughts on retail

Halloween is coming up in just over a month’s time, and already the stores are filling up with everything orange. Over in New Jersey, you can be sure it’s no different.

I was glancing through some news today and found an interesting article about Halloween costumes for the infamous IPod music player. For a couple of years now, companies have been making all sorts of cases that suit a person individuality for these portable machines. If you live in Newark, you might go with the gangster leather complete with bling bling. If you work in a mine, definitely go for the glow-in-the dark option. And of course if you are teenage girl who has parents nice enough (or rich enough) to buy you an IPod. There are numerous shades of pink that you can go, fluffy, furry, svelte or glossy. Take your pick.

Apparently, this Halloween, there is a big push to dress your IPod in costume as well! Some guy last year tried to be REALLY different and dressed AS an IPod. No kidding, a giant walking IPod – now that’s scary!

So if you own an IPod, this Halloween, don’t leave your IPod out of all that costume fun! I wouldn’t be surprised that if you wanted to dress up as Spider-man or woman. That there probably would be a snazzy Spider-man web suit for your IPod as well.
