You Are 75% Left Brained, 25% Right Brained

The left side of your brain controls verbal ability, attention to detail, and reasoning.
Left brained people are good at communication and persuading others.
If you're left brained, you are likely good at math and logic.
Your left brain prefers dogs, reading, and quiet.

The right side of your brain is all about creativity and flexibility.
Daring and intuitive, right brained people see the world in their unique way.
If you're right brained, you likely have a talent for creative writing and art.
Your right brain prefers day dreaming, philosophy, and sports.

i haven't blogged for awhile, and i was having problems figuring out what to write about after such a hectic few months in school. i figured another quiz would get my thinking juices going. This quiz is a bit of self reflection, and in a way confirms the areas of interest and gifting for me. its is clear that music and photography, while are artistic interests, and abilities, do not form the dominant mindset that i have, as more of a right brained kind of guy.

so whats going on for me in the fall? it seems to be shaping up nicely, although only a couple plans are certain. other than auditing a course in counselling in September, the fall will mostly be spent on my internship and work terms. I'm already in one that finishes in december, and might get another one working on the student households crew. student households is sorta like the student council for students who don't live in dorms. we make ourselves available to help and serve our fellow students in a myriad of ways, and we are also in charge of planning evens that help people connect with each other, and help make Caronport a lil smaller than it already is

in october, i embark on 2.5 day bus trip out to the Maritimes! i'm excited to be going out to that part of Canada(finally!), and but also really excited to meet Cheryl's family and friends. it will be a significant building block to our developing relationship. i'm looking forward in stopping in montreal along the way and savouring their poutines and montreal smoked beef (separately or together!)

we'll see what other paid work opportunities come up as well, there might be opportunities to help out with the harvest out here in september, but if not i've got blockbuster and my thesis to be thinking about. i've been having a hard time figuring out what i want to write about, so say a lil prayer for me about that when you get a chance
